Paralyzed? I Say Not!

At least not completely anymore. This week a man and a woman, who are paralyzed from the shoulders down, were able to manipulate a robotic arm and use it for common tasks, most notably drinking from a cup. The implementation of this is amazing, and has far more applications than you can imagine.
The obvious uses for this technology are to help the paralyzed, but this research could also help pave the way for thought-controled robots, thought controlled computers, and other brain-tapping coolness.
But back to the story. This is a wonderful achievement for the scientists who created this device, the two who were finally able to move an arm after 3 and 15 years, and for human kind.

Thought Controls and Progress. Can this get any better?

Post Script Idea: Dog toys that are propelled by the dog's thoughts? That would be sweet! >:D
